Yung Miami’s G Wagon Shot At While Leaving Circle House Studios

Although there are few details, fans are happy to hear that Yung Miami is safe following reports that her vehicle was fired at early Tuesday morning. Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee of the City Girls was leaving a studio session in her G Wagon when shots rang out.

There’s no footage of the attack, but a blurry video of Yung Miami explaining to officers what happened is circulating social media. Caresha, who is pregnant, was reportedly leaving a late night recording session at Circle House Studios in Miami when her vehicle was approached. While the number of times she was fired at is unconfirmed, reports are saying at least 14 shots were aimed at her vehicle. The distressing attack came after Kodak Black admitted he would punch Yung Miami in the stomach for refusing his proposal and carrying Southside’s child.

In a freestyle released by Kodak Black while incarcerated, the fellow Florida native expressed his harbored emotions toward Yung Miami and her boyfriend Southside. Prompting immediate backlash from the Black community, the freestyle got Southside’s attention. In a response posted on Instagram, Southside said “Somebody tell Kodak to suck a d*ck” and jabbed at him to “Get up out of jail first.”

Although the identity of the shooters is unknown, social media users are speculating the attack is related to the recent beef between Yung Miami, Southside, and Kodak Black. Do you think the events are connected or is this a separated incident?

Rolling Stone magazine hit us with a trifecta of talent for their second annual, Women Shaping the Future issue, out March 3.

On the cover, sweet-faced Normani, brash in your face Megan Thee Stallion and innocent, doe-eyed SZA are each clad in leather ensembles that match the unique persona’s we’ve come to love.

SZA burst onto the scene in 2014 with her ep debut, Z. Since then, the singer/songwriter has been featured on chart-topping songs with Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and Rihanna.

Megan Thee Stallion grabbed our attention with her summer anthem, Hot Girl Summer, and has been giving us “Hot Girl” vibes all year long with no signs of slowing down.

As for Normani, formerly a member of Fifth Harmony, she’s given us plenty to celebrate as she embarked on her solo career. Just last year, the sultry vocalist collaborated with DJ Calvin Harris and released her first single, Motivation, along with a viral music video.

As we approach Women’s History Month, we’re excited to learn more about how each of these ladies plans to shape the future.

According to Rolling Stone, “In addition to revealing, in-depth profiles of these three artists, the issue also contains exclusive interviews with Regina King, Stacey Abrams, Natasha Lyonne, and other prominent women in entertainment, sports, politics, and culture.”
