When it comes to Trump and Moscow, Special Counsel Robert Mueller has all the receipts. The counsel’s office has learned Trump had directives instructing subordinates to lie, including Michael Cohen.
According to Buzzfeed News, President Trump instructed Michael Cohen to lie about The Moscow Tower project. While this is not the first evidence to implicate Trump’s attempt to obstruct justice, it is the first known example of explicit direction telling a subordinate to lie. Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s office first learned about this directive through multiple interviews with witnesses affiliated directly with the Trump Organization. Along with texts, emails, and internal communications, Mueller has Cohen’s acknowledgement of those instructions.
“Make it happen”
Two months ago, we reported about Michael Cohen admitting to congress that he lied about the Moscow-Trump deal. “To be consistent with the President’s political messaging”, Cohen lied about Trump’s involvement. Not only did Trump receive information about the deal, he supported a plan to visit Moscow. During the presidential campaign Trump had Cohen arrange the visit where Trump would be face-to-face with Vladimir Putin.
In a two-page statement to the Senate and House Intelligence committees, Cohen pleaded guilty. Recanting his attempt to minimize the links between “the Moscow Project and Individual 1”, Mueller said Cohen complied “in hopes of limiting the ongoing Russia investigations.” Along with Cohen’s testimony, keep in mind Trump’s right-hand man at the Trump Organization, Allen Weisselberg, was granted immunity last summer.
So what does this mean? It means the President stands accused of suborning perjury to derail the investigation. Trump told everyone Russia was innocent during this time, a time where he was attempting to benefit financially in Moscow and actively attacking the opposition party. If this is a part of the information Mueller has, the Trump Administration will fall like dominoes. Trump, Trump Jr., Ivanka, Jared Kushner could all be implicated for their parts in the deal.
Examining A Few 2020 Presidential Hopefuls
After 2 years of muddling through the Trump Administration, Presidential hopefuls are confident they can break America out of the fog. As more contenders throw their hats into the ring, now is a good time to get to know your candidates and vet their qualifications.
As we await the conclusion of the Mueller investigation, democrats, and an increasing amount of republicans, have expressed their fervent disapproval of the sitting Commander-In-Chief. Still, that has not stopped him from announcing his bid for re-election. Donald Trump believes he will claim certain victory, as there is only one elected president before him that has not received his party’s nomination. Regarding qualifications, Trump is sure his recent tax bill that inadvertently lowered expected refunds along with tax rates for 80% of Americans, according to the Tax Policy Center, will secure his second term. His life in-and-out of politics has been marred with controversy. Between a massive collusion scandal, a refusal to disclose his tax returns, and a glaring mistreatment of migrant children, Trump has more than proven he is incapable of the esteemed position. However, should the Mueller probe end successfully, Trump will see prison bars before he sees the Oval Office again.
The self-proclaimed Democratic-Socialist has confirmed he is running for president in the 2020 elections. Famously admired among young voters, Bernie Sanders has a complicated relationship with the party he does not claim. Many blame Bernie Sanders for splitting the Democratic party during the 2016 elections. Running on a platform of progressive values, Bernie advocates for a livable minimum wage, Medicare for all, higher taxes for the rich, and aggressive measures to combat climate change. Registered as an Independent, it is unclear if Sanders will run within his 3rd party of if he will work to secure the Democratic Party’s nomination. Regarding scandal, Bernie was a target of a 2015 deal between the DNC and Hilary Clinton’s campaign as revealed by Former DNC interim Chairwoman Donna Brazile. The deal resulted in the DNC defaulting on the principle of supporting presidential candidates in equal fashion throughout the primaries. Ultimately this leak of information caused Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, then head of the DNC, to resign. The Vermont Senator also has a complicated voting record where his opinions on gun control waver.
Announcing her run on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Harris is determined to make the jump from the Senate to the Oval Office. However, opinions vary on the former prosecuting attorney due to her record and relationship with the criminal justice system. Kamala is a Howard University alum that went on to study law at Hastings College. She advanced her career by becoming a fierce prosecuting attorney, securing the district attorney spot, and ultimately ascending to attorney general. Recently, Kamala made national waves while pressing Brett Kavanaugh during hearings ahead of his confirmation vote. Still, the fear of her enacting policies that would disproportionately affect marginalized communities lingers. Should she secure the democratic nomination, Harris would be the first African-American and Indian-American president as well as first female president.
Confident that she will help re-establish the middle class, Warren has announced her bid. The Massachusetts Senator has pledged to fight for structural change. Warren is an alum of both the University of Houston and Rutgers Law School. She is a progressive Democrat who champions for student loan reform. Having advocated for the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Warren is committed to fighting corporate capitalism. In 2018, Senator Elizabeth Warren made the mistake of releasing her DNA results in an effort to end insults made by President Trump who frequently called her Pocahontas. She previously exploited her Native American ancestry and listed herself as a minority professor at Harvard Law School.
This post will be followed with updates as individuals enter the race.
Former Trump Adviser Roger Stone Arrested in Mueller Probe
Roger Stone has been apprehended in Florida Friday morning. The Former adviser to President Trump is scheduled to appear in court today at 11am ET.
Facing seven counts in the Mueller investigation, Roger Stone was arrested by the FBI early Friday morning. He stands charged with five counts of false statements and one count each for obstruction and witness tampering. Having just been indicted yesterday, Mueller is taking no chances with the self-described agent provocateur. While Roger Stone was arrested by agents in Fort Lauderdale, agents in Harlem were spotted carting hard drives and other evidence from his apartment.
Looking at Roger Stone’s resume is like looking at a racist politician “best of” list. The long-time Republican political consultant has had the ear of presidents from Nixon to Reagan to Trump. Remember that Nixon, amid The Watergate Scandal, was famous for being the only president to resign from office.
With extended experience in political foul-play, Roger Stone served as an informal adviser to Trump. Despite his history of influencing American election campaigns, Roger insists he has no connection to Russia’s attempts to tamper with the 2016 presidential election. However, social media posts and interviews before the election show Stone had knowledge of potentially damaging information regarding Clinton’s campaign.
Shortly after the first round of Podesta emails leaked, Stone received a text from a Trump campaign aide that said “Well done.” Information from the indictment shows Stone attempted to coerce others to mislead Congress as well, among the targets was Randy Credico. One month ago, we reported that Credico told the grand jury Stone had a back channel to WikiLeaks.
As Trump’s administration continues to collapse, Sarah Huckabee Sanders continues to deflect any questions regarding arrests or indictments. The Mueller investigation has claimed five guilty parties, seen 2 indictments, and only one has had charges dropped. We shall soon find out at what cost Trump’s first campaign manager bought his freedom.

Please Be Critical Of Kamala Harris
Before you get excited that a Black female candidate is running for President of the United States in 2020, check her record. Kamala Harris has a very dark history when it comes to how she treats her own.
Californians can speak firsthand of the tyranny of Kamala Harris’ policies. Having started a career in law enforcement, Kamala wanted a seat “at the table where decisions are made.”Kamala established herself as a law-and-order candidate early in her career during a time when Hilary Clinton pitched her “super predator” spiel. She directly strengthened the prison industrial complex and opposed legislative prison reform. Through incessant terrorizing of Black communities, Kamala’s way to the presidency is paved with Black destruction.
In 2003, Kamala Harris was appointed District Attorney of the City and County of San Francisco. As D.A. the overall felony conviction rate rose from 52% to 67% within 3 years to become the highest in a decade. Convictions for drug dealers increased from 56% to 74% within that time. Kamala’s success prompted her to write Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor’s Plan to Make Us Safer. The book included her views on criminal justice from an economic perspective.
Aside from advocating for the use of a system in which success is contingent upon the oppression of the disenfranchised, Kamala went after sex workers. When BackPage was collapsing from legal issues, sex workers reached out to Kamala. Advocating for retaining the adult section of the site, sex workers said without the feature they would be forced to return to the unsafe streets. Kamala was responsible for the lawsuit against BackPage CEO Carl Ferrer, who pleaded guilty to facilitating prostitution and money laundering.

What Kamala Harris is doing, rather effectively might I add, is weaponizing her racial identity to appeal to moderates the same way Obama did. By referencing Shirley Chisholm’s campaign in her announcement, Kamala is attempting to appeal to constituents.
Whatever the case, it is important to look at Kamala’s track record before you endorse her. Kamala Harris’ campaign announcement seems opportunist. To choose Martin Luther King Day after releasing a playlist of music we know she doesn’t listen to for the sake of optics is just deceitful.
