“There’s a Best Western Next Door” Trump’s Visit To Buckingham Palace Marred with Insults

The 775-room estate of Buckingham Palace is ‘regretfully’ unable to host the Trump family during their most recent visit. Boasting 52 royal and guest bedrooms, the massive home of British monarchs says because of “ongoing renovation work that began in 2016” the United States President will have to seek accommodations elsewhere.

After working to recant remarks made about Meghan Markle, insulting London mayor Sadiq Khan, and complaining about the journey, Trump has been humbled by the Crown’s refusal to host him as their honored guest. Donald Trump couldn’t possibly be naive enough to believe that Britain maintains a positive view of him, especially after the celebrated resignation of former British Prime Minister Theresa May.

According to The Washington Post, a warm receipt of the disappointment-in-chief was far from what Donald Trump received and it may be due to his recent string of tweets. Before landing in Stanstead Airport aboard Air Force One, Trump called the mayor of London a “stone cold loser,” mocked his height, and called him “incompetent.” Sadiq Khan has been serving as the Mayor of London since 2016 and is left leaning. Endorsing policies described by journalists as socially liberal, Khan is also a vocal feminist. However, Trump is not a fan of his progressive views and has continued to target the Khan as the first Muslim and ethnic minority mayor of London. Still, Khan is not one to be bullied for his views and responded to Trump’s insults via video response. Proclaiming that diversity is a strength, women deserve equality, and the vulnerable and marginalized need protection, Khan worked to impress upon the arriving American president that this is neither the time nor the place for his antics.

In addition to insulting the current mayor of the city he is visiting, Trump has been at odds with Meghan Markle and his last visit with the Queen was rather disrespectful. He repeatedly broke protocol by walking ahead of Queen Elizabeth and referred to Meghan as “nasty” after hearing she is not a fan of his misogynistic behavior. While he is set to dine with Prince Phillip and his wife Camilla, the remaining Royals will have their work cut out for them. Other traveling members of Trump’s party include his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.

A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.

Nas Attacks Doja Cat In New Song, “Ultra Black”

mm

Published

Nas seems to be scrambling for relevance. In a newly released song, he included a line that fired a shot at Doja Cat… who nobody was talking about.

“We going Ultra Black, Unapologetically Black, The opposite of Doja Cat”

Nas, Ultra Black

Now, if y’all will recall, Kanye was doing his able-bodied best to undermine multiple socio-political movements just a few weeks. So it’s interesting that Nas mentions Doja instead of the much more active threat, but to each her own. Twitter agrees:

Lauryn Hill has taken to Facebook after her daughter, Selah Marley, spoke on an Instagram Live about the trauma she felt she experienced at the hands of her mother. In the Live, according to Billboard and other sources, she details the times Lauryn would hold Selah’s hands over her head while she spanked them. Later, she would delete the post and replace it with this one:

Lauryn Hill had a long, five-paragraph essay on her spirit, in response. The gist:

“My children are strong-willed and powerful, better I discipline them at home than have them shot down in the streets or locked up.”

Lauryn Hill, Facebook

Miss Hill has long been criticized for her lyrics, and the possible misogynoir in them. This is something Selah seems to want to keep between herself and her mother, so we will respect.
