Russell Wilson Receives Backlash for his Mother’s Day Post to Ciara

So it look likes Russell and Ciara Wilson are getting attacked yet again on social media. Recently Russell, the doting, and loving husband posted a message to his wife, Ciara for Mother’s day.

“Nothing better than spending time with you. You are an amazing mom & I’m so grateful I get to spend the rest of my life with you & raising our kids. I love you! #HappyMothersDay Weekend my love.”

As I read the post, I did not see anything wrong but apparently, some people (mostly the Future Stans) had some issues. People were going in on Russell because they felt he should not be claiming baby Future as his own child. People were saying that Russell only has one child with Ciara, he needs to worry about his career and other ignorant comments.

People should not be upset because there are several cases in a society where step children are treated differently and receive the short hand of the stick. I actually applaud Russell for acknowledging his stepson as his own child because that shows his true character. It is good to see that there are some men out here that actually knows how to not only be an amazing husband and father but a mature adult as well

I truly think that people, specifically the Future Stans, have a problem with the fact that Ciara has moved on with her life and is actually happy. If Ciara was not a celebrity and dealt with a regular Joe, no one would care. But since she had a relationship with the trap rapper and had a child, some people get in their feelings for EVERY AND ANYTHING the Wilsons do. I wondered what people would say if Russell treated baby Future differently from the child he shares with Ciara. I bet you a million dollars that people would still be pissed. SMH.

If Future himself has not publicly addressed Ciara and Russell, then the Stans just need to have a seat. At the end of the day, we really do not know how Future feels about Russell being a stepfather to his son and honestly, it is none of our business. I am not the biggest fan of the Wilsons but people just need to leave them alone and let them enjoy their lives.

We were waiting to see the Stallion and Cardi and although we got that, we also got something that none of us wanted or were interested in. Every Black person with a brain and no raccoon DNA was on the same page. Keep the culture vultures like Kylie out of the culture

Someone even started a petition to get her removed off the video altogether.

There’s talk that they had to pause the music so Kylie could walk on beat…
