Rob Kardashian is the level of petty we should all aspire to be (just kidding!).
As I’m sure we all know by now, Rob Kardashian won the internet yesterday. As he acted out the live action version of “Shether” (which I’m now convinced he wrote), the body count was epic. From Blac Chyna to TI and Tiny, to her alleged side pieces (aka Becky with no credit), he spared no one. The shots were fired in the form of nude pics, screenshots, videos, pretty much all of the receipts needed to discredit Blac Chyna. The spree even continued with him repossessing the cars he purchased for her!
Well now that the dust has begun to settle, the repercussions are starting come in. By posting multiple nude (private) photos of Blac Chyna, Rob may have violated California’s “revenge porn” law. According to the Washington Post, California’s penal code has defined “revenge porn,” or “nonconsensual pornography,” as the intentional distribution of intimate photos or videos of another “identifiable person” that were intended to remain private and, when shared, caused “serious emotional distress.”The offense carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. To make things worse, Blac Chyna has already let us know that legally she is here for the mess. The following statement released Wednesday evening to PEOPLE through her attorney Walter Mosely: “I am exploring all legal remedies and protections available to my client at this time in attempts to best advise her on how she may want to proceed.”
Meanwhile, the Kardashians are reportedly pissed over Rob’s latest shenanigans. It amazes me how they all come down on Rob, but never seem to have issues with each other’s poor choices (*cough, stealing from Black culture, cough*).
We’ll have to stay tuned to see how all of this plays out. In the meantime, my heart goes out to that beautiful Dream Kardashian. No child deserves to be collateral damage in a civil war between her parents.
What do you thin about all of this? Could Rob go to jail over this? Will Blac Chyna provide a worthy clapback?
