Rewards Offered by Checking Accounts

mm

Published

on

No matter your financial circumstances and no matter where you have done your banking in the past, you (much like everyone else in the world) surely love a good freebie every now and then. With this in mind, you’ll be happy to know that there are plenty of banking solutions out there that offer some sort of rewards for your continued business.

Some banks and financial institutions make no secret of their rewards programs. In fact, some of them basically shout these rewards from the mountain tops. They want your business, and they want you to stick around and keep using them, so they offer some sort of incentive to keep you aboard.

Some of these incentives are most definitely worthy of sticking around for. For example, you might find yourself looking at lists such as the 10 Best Rewards Checking Accounts (and Sign Up Bonuses) of 2020 when trying to find the best rewards and incentives you for you. Not only do these banks want your business, they are willing to give you some freebies to help you make the decision to keep doing business with them.

What sort of rewards can I expect from banks?

Many banks and financial institutions are well known for providing incentives for their customers to stay on board and keep doing business with them. You can find a myriad of rewards and incentives to keep you around as a customer as well, and it is not always something rewarded to long term customers, either.

Sometimes, new customers opening an account with a bank or financial institution will find plenty of reasons to stick around, with rewards like these to help keep them around.

  • A sign up bonus

Some banks will offer a sign up bonus simply for signing up with them. You could find that by opening an account with a certain institution, you suddenly have some bonus money to spend. This is always a great incentive to new customers, offering free credit just for the simple act of signing up.

  • Cash back rewards

Many credit companies provide these sorts of rewards, offering cash back on select purchases such as stays in hotels, spending money in certain grocery store, hotels, or airlines, or something else entirely. Whatever the case may be, being guaranteed a certain amount of cashback for the simple act of spending money in a certain place is another great incentive to stick with your chosen financial institution.

  • Minimal fees

No one loves spending extra money on fees and charges from their bank or credit institution. Sound familiar?

Many companies pride themselves on offering little to no extra or hidden charges and fees, meaning the account holder always knows what they will be spending up front, before ever officially opening an account with the company. This sort of transparency can go a long way in building trust between the company and the customer.

What benefits do some of these deals offer?

People looking for the best options for these sorts of deals should be scouring the internet on trusted financial sites such as LetMeBank and others, so that they know exactly what to expect the minute they go to sign up.

Of course, these rewards programs have to offer something to the customer as well as the business, otherwise the whole thing is completely one sided. For the customer opening a new account, they are given some pretty nice deals and incentives to keep doing business for the company. For the company, they are hopefully keeping customers around to continue to do business with them.

Everyone loves a good deal or a freebie, and it is in the best interests of financial companies to provide these rewards programs. By making sure account holders are happy with and get something out of their services, those account holders will stick around for years to come.

Whether it is something as simple as a certain amount of money guaranteed on signup, or special cashback deals on specific purchases or travel arrangements like hotels or airline tickets, many companies make sure they are providing value to the customer by giving them something in return for their continued business.

Should I consider these deals?

In short, absolutely! If you are looking for a new bank or financial company, finding the best deals to earn your business is a no-brainer. You get some of the best financial deals, discounts, and cashback rewards around, while your chosen company gets your continued business. It is a win-win for everyone involved, and it just might help you save some money or even make some money back on your travel or purchases.

Jada Pinkett-Smith Admits She Was “Entangled” With August Alsina

mm

Published

on

I took some time before writing this to really process my thoughts on this matter. August Alsina, in my opinion, is a victim. It’s my job as someone with a platform to not make a joke of his situation. Jada didn’t seem give him that much, but I’ll try.

In this episode, Will is in the seat as a Jada/Willow hybrid, sprinkling mhmms about the room in the vain of his daughter. They opened the episode with irony. Jada had a lack of self-awareness. They claimed that this situation was nobody else’s business. It takes a lot of gall to be Jada Pinkett-Smith, a woman who has re-entered public conversation by putting a table in her house and having personal conversations about her own family and then tell people to stay out of her business. That’s literally not her brand.

We move on to her half-admitting that there was a relationship, calling it an “entanglement”. Simultaneously, they both admit that August was vulnerable (“sick”) when they met him. But, here’s the point where they begin to gaslight. The majority of the video is centered around the fact that, about 4 ½ years ago, they had “broken up.” They pose this situation as a kind of affair. Rather than addressing how inappropriate this situation was, they talk ad nauseum about their relationship and the fact that their love is strong again. I cried.

Jada Brings Herself to the Table

Jada and Will address the recent headlines and share their journey of finding peace through pain.

Posted by Red Table Talk on Friday, July 10, 2020

I cried because I’ve been August, manipulated by an older man, used in a time of need. I cried because these people have found a way to spin this situation and escape accountability. In my opinion, Will and Jada have been allowed to coddle oppressors for a few years now, and they’ve done it again, here. But, hey, Bad Marriage For Life, right?

Jada Speaks on August Alsina Drama in Latest Red Table Talk

Published

on

In her first “Red Table Talk” since the infamous August Alsina-Jada Pinkett-Smith drama began, Jada admitted that she did in fact have a relationship with singer August Alsina.

In response to Alsina’s claim that he was involved in a romantic years-long relationship with the actress, Jada said their relationship began “4 and a half years ago” at a time when both her and August were going through an immense amount of change in their lives.

“You and I were going through a very difficult time,” Jada said, speaking to her husband Will Smith. “You kicked me to the curb.. We basically broke up.” Will agreed that he was “done with her ass” while commenting that “marriages go through that.”

When her husband asked her why she chose the relationship with Alsina, she replied “I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I felt good, and it was really a joy to help heal somebody.” Since news of the relationship broke, much of the criticism Pinkett-Smith has faced revolved around her possibly wanting to heal August as he had recently lost his sister and taken on custody of her children. In an interesting comparison, she likened her need to help broken people – such as August, at the time – to an addiction.

She argued that she “was really able to do some really deep healing” before he suddenly broke communication and hadn’t had any contact with her since then. According to both Jada and Will Alsina cut the Smiths off “years ago” and that’s why Alsina even mentioning all this now was so “strange.”.

The actress then went on to thank her husband for being such a good companion that both of them “could make mistakes without fear of losing [their] family.” They both expressed gratitude in each other for sticking around especially when, according to Will, Jada messed up so badly he wasn’t sure he was even going to speak to her again.

The two shared laughs then reaffirmed their marriage some more by talking about how whatever Jada did that had Will so pissed off wasn’t enough to scare him away.

In all, this latest installment of “Red Table Talk” was interesting to say the least. Check it out below.

Company Connected to Tidal Apparently Took Millions in PPP Loans

mm

Published

on

Jay-Z’s media empire seems to be in distress. According to Variety, Malibu Entertainment took $2.1 million in PPP loans after the music and film industries were crippled by the coronavirus. Of interest is that Malibu Entertainment is not only a Jay-Z venture, but also shares physical and, according to Variety‘s sources, some financial resources with Tidal

“[I]n 2017 Malibu submitted for H1B visas for graphic designers providing as a contact for Joseph Borrino, CFO of Roc Nation at the time, who used a Tidal.com email address; and several Tidal employees tell Variety that their paychecks come from Malibu Entertainment.”

Jem Aswad, Variety

Tidal and Roc Nation have already had to make some salary cuts, furloughs, and lay-offs during the pandemic. I’m almost positive that Mr. Carter himself has not cut his own salary in all of this, but maybe I’m wrong. The bottom line is this: Tidal has been struggling for a while. The concern is that he’s using pandemic money as a last ditch effort to save a service that probably only sees subscriber uptick when his wife decides she’ll make another one of her projects a “Tidal Exclusive”.

Jay-Z Kanye

Jay-Z isn’t the only celebrity businessman to take advantage of the CARES Act money. Kanye West also stood in the welfare line to get Yeezy their very own EBT card as well. I’ll reiterate my thoughts from my Kanye Op Ed: These men are not playing chess, they aren’t even on the board. Jay-Z partnered with Live Nation to make Roc Nation. He bought Tidal, prebuilt. Yeezys are just rock-shaped Nikes. These men are not, in my opinion, good at this. And I think it’s time we start recognizing that. They are propped up by our dollars, and their more-marketable wives, and not giving nearly enough back.
