John Conner who is best known for being the Coach for the Infamous Dancerettes has some serious charges being filed against him. Information was brought to my attention several weeks ago that parents were filing charges on him for not only statutory rape but also the criminal exposure of HIV. Since no official receipts were provided I never spoke on it.

Coach John wrote a long Facebook post of him trying to commit suicide. This is around the time that information was brought to me about charges being filed on him. The Facebook post made perfect sense. John might have been preparing himself for the damage that was on its way before it was made public.

Coach John was arrested Friday for criminal exposure to HIV, soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor and statutory rape by an authority figure in Memphis, TN. John’s bail was $100,000.

He has since posted bail and took to Facebook to clear his name before situations spun out of control.

Here are my thoughts.

According to what I’ve been told. Two of the boys were on his dance team. He has had sexual encounters with both. One of the victims contracted HIV and the victim named John as a sexual partner. Both of the boys who are alleged to have sex were and still are to my knowledge under age. Unfortunately, no one is trying to frame Coach John. I think he’s a good guy who just made a stupid mistake and continued the mistake while knowing it was wrong. John is a black gay man with a platform and who is looked up to. Instead of focusing on his dance team and taking it to the next level he allowed himself to be consumed by desires and made careless decisions.

I do not believe in some of the HIV laws. John might have informed all of his sexual partners of his status. That doesn’t mean someone wouldn’t lie about not being told. In the state of Tennessee, a 16-year-old cannot consent to sex. Parents have trusted you with their children and you put them in harm’s way. He has tarnished his brand before it was built. At this point in the game, all I can tell John to do is log off of all social media.

You can trust and believe that Bring It will disassociate themselves with just like they did with the Tamia situation.

My thoughts are with the parents, the teenage boys and the Infamous Dancerettes. Instead of focusing on competing this weekend at Buck or Die competition in Atlanta, GA hosted by the Dancing Dolls. They have to hear about their coach’s legal matters.

How do you explain something like this to youth?

I will update as the story develops.

Its sad. But i agree with your spill on it. I thought it was a rumor at first because people do get jealous looking from the outside thinking he has this and that. But after looking into things i see the accusations are true. Im not worried about him im worried about the parents and children who are both going to need counseling from this tragic event.

The article says he made a mistake and continued to make the mistake over and over while keeping owing it was wrong. A mistake is forgetting to put eggs in my cake. This was a calculated decision by a grown MAN to betray the children and parents that trusted him. Our community has a history of being silent about rape since slavery. It is a big deal! It was not a mistake. Let’s not down play this horrible act of someone that was trusted with children. He was wrong, he knew he was wrong. I’m sorry for those kids and the families. Not the adult who made a calculated and horrific choice to betray them.

Its so sad and disgusting what John has been doing. These kids looked up to him and respected him. John, you were supposed to be changing these kids life for the better. You changed they life alright but not for no damn better. I advise you to get on your knees and pray hard to Allah(swt)

This hurts my heart because it’s so so sad and I just experience a similar situation with my daughter’s step team. Only difference it was girls and the coach didn’t have HIV. No it wasn’t my daughter but it was girls on the team. Me as parent and how close we was it seem like it was my daughters and it just sadden me because we trust these ppl with our kids and something like this happens sorry back to your story that just brought me back so new we still dealing with it. But I agree with you 100% and when I read the article I said the same thing now you asking God and they making this up n trying to steal your company then I see his mom interview and she stands behind him 100% calling these boys lairs and not once say to herself if this was my son and apologize to them and their parents. Now you supposed to stand behind your kid but you also supposed to let your child know when they’re wrong. Not go along with the B.S. very upsetting. I don’t believe he told them he had HIV and they have messages and nudes pictures so how it’s a lie. Justin I agree with you……

I feel for these boys and their family and I just pray they get justice and stay strong, hope comfort comes to them soon. And moms get your kids help.

This is a grown man who had a responsibility to teach dance to a group of kids. This article is BS!! First of all a grown up doesn’t continue to make the same “mistake”. WTF?…This grown man made the “decision” to violate a couple of his male students This is what he did!! He knew his sexual or health issues and yet he infected a child…This is not a mistake this is a selfish act and a violation of a minor and their trust. I wouldn’t of had my child in his class period!! He gave off very negative vibes in my opinion. I never trusted him for some reason and my concerns have proven to be true. My hopes are for the kids and their families that he betrayed, will be able to move on from this unfortunate situation. This man will have to account for his actions and the crimes he has committed period!

Bitter Baby Father Future Says Russell Wilson isn’t a “Real Man”

Future must be desperate for some press following the release of his new album, The WIZRD. While sharing inspiration for his album, Future discussed his thoughts on his ex-fiancée, Ciara, and her husband Russell Wilson.

Kno Mercy

Future and Ciara have not been a couple for years. We all know if the roles were reversed, CeCe would be every kind of low-down descriptor used for women clinging to their ex. Still, her bitter ex will get no pass from me. Being the bitter baby daddy that he is, Future decided to put his unnecessary two-cents in on how Russ and Ciara’s relationship works.

While the dynamics of a healthy relationship are completely unknown to the five-time sperm donor, Future thought it was his place to discuss Ciara’s happy marriage. Eloquently stating, “he do exactly what she tell him to do”, Future seems to resent Russell valuing his wife’s opinion enough to love and obey her. The audacity?! The unmitigated gall?! How dare Russell Wilson show respect and admiration for the mind of a woman and care for a child not his own? Behaving so childishly, you’d almost think Future was jealous.

Future thought it was his place to say Russell should be a “man” and tell Ciara to stop mentioning his name in public indefinitely. Gathering all his ignorance like a spirit bomb, Future spewed the following:

“He not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, ‘Chill out with that on the internet. Don’t even talk to him. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’ If that was me, she couldn’t even bring her exes’ names up.”

Now I don’t know just how fried the remainder of Future’s synapses are to formulate such ass-backwards opinions about how successful, functioning men who aren’t abusing prescription substances should govern their marriages. But I do know narcissistic abusive behavior when I see it.

What is clear from Future’s commentary on Ciara and Russell’s happy marriage is this — he’s jealous it is not him and is too prideful to admit he wants the prayer like the rest of us. He does not understand the practice of co-parenting or parenting for that matter. In the past, he has said the mothers’ of his children should simply explain “they gotta make a sacrifice having a superstar dad.” And so he should understand this, Ciara is happy and doesn’t care. But I know that it hurts, I know that it hurts his pride, and he can just go cry in a Nissan.

R. Kelly Dropped by Sony Music, Former Manager James Mason Surrenders for Arrest

Rolling Stone

R. Kelly’s former manager, James Mason, has surrendered to authorities in Georgia following news of an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The walls now closing in on the former R&B idol, R. Kelly has been dropped by his label, Sony Music.

During May 2018, Joycelyn Savage’s father, Timothy, filed a police report with the Henry County Police Department. Claiming his daughter was being held captive by R. Kelly, Mr. Savage asserted the artist and James Mason threatened him for going public. The former manager had a warrant issued for his arrest in July 2018 and managed to evade arrest until today.

The incident report originally filed by Timothy Savage was obtained by CNN and alleges James Mason made “terroristic threats and acts.” Mason attempted to intimidate the Savages, stating:

“I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f*cking kill you.”

James Mason had referred all attempts for contact to his legal representation. It is unclear if he intends to cooperate in the ongoing investigation mounted against R. Kelly and his years of sexual abuse.

#MuteRKelly Forces Labels to Drop Singer

In addition to the possibility of former management providing pertinent information to the feds, R. Kelly has been dropped from his label. According to Variety, Sony Music has decided to dissolve their business relationship with the artist. They are currently working through issues to avoid legal fallout behind their decision.

Sony’s move to release R. Kelly comes after the singer was removed from the RCA records website. Although he has not released new music with Sony since 2016, R. Kelly tweeted earlier this year that fans should expect a new album. With the success of #MuteRKelly campaigns and “Surviving R. Kelly,” it is unclear if the studio will move forward with any remaining projects. Further influencing the studio’s decision was UltraViolet, a women’s organization. UltraViolet commissioned a plane to fly over Sony Music’s LA offices with a sign reading “RCA/Sony: Drop Sexual Predator R. Kelly”. Along with the Los Angeles protest, Sony’s New York headquarters had protests staged outside as well.

“He Stole My Whole Flow” Soulja Boy Goes On Tirade, Accuses Rappers of Biting His Style

Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy said y’all are going to respect his influence tuh-day! During his interview with The Breakfast Club, Soulja discussed his influence over the years and artists who owe him their careers.

During an interview with The Breakfast Club, Soulja Boy was asked who had a bigger comeback. While the rest of TBC suggested Meek Mill did, due to his beef with Drake, Soulja nominated himself, citing “he taught Drake everything he knew”.

The receipts don’t lie. While Drake has since developed his own style, his first single ‘Miss Me’ credits Soulja Boy as a writer. The opening bars of the song are ripped straight from Soulja’s ‘What’s Hannenin’, released in 2007. Earlier in the interview, Soulja discussed his influence on new-age rappers who gained their fame using his blueprint. Reminiscing over the times older rappers would say “Soulja Boy killed hip-hop”, he had this to say:

“When I first came in I got it the worst though. I got it the worst though — from Ice T, from Snoop Dogg, from all the OGs…Now, look at everybody collabing — they love the new generation. I had to take them bullets. Everybody doing what I did. They laughed at me and now I’m being shunned. “

“Ye ain’t no Walt Disney”

Soulja Boy also discussed his other business endeavors. Not beholden to the music industry, Soulja has invested in himself by releasing a game console. When Charlamagne remarked that people are saying his consoles are counterfeit, Soulja made an argument in his defense.

“They always hate on a Black entrepreneur. They’ll give props to the Asians at Nintendo, the White people at XBOX, the White people at Playstation. But a Black entrepreneur, a rapper, the first rapper to come out with his own video game, they gon say ‘It’s counterfeit!’ and its this-and-that and sh*t on me. But Imma keep striving and doing my thing because I made $250,000 in one day.”

Venturing into business for himself, Soulja Boy is among the many rappers who have non-music endeavors. During the interview, Soulja drew comparisons to Kanye West, to which he was not impressed.

After this interview made the rounds, Famous Dex and Soulja Boy got into a heated argument on IG Live.

It’s not exactly clear what caused the beef between the two, but it could stem what what Soulja Boy said earlier in his interview. Laying claim to the reasons for today’s artist blueprint, Famous Dex was named as one of the faves who copied Soulja’s style. For now, the two are leaving their beef on the ‘gram, but Dex has threatened to pull up. We’ll see if that happens. Famous Dex is currently in Australia, relaxing before Sound Splash Festival in New Zealand.
