Let me tell you one of the most dangerous things you can do is meet up with men you don’t know especially trade! 2 men have now been charged with sexual assault after 2 victims had similar experiences.

Now catch these teas.

Investigators say the adult male victim left his work at a hair salon early that morning and stood on the corner of East Monument Street and Milton Avenue, where he offered two men in a dark-colored SUV $10 for a ride back to his Dundalk home. When they arrived at the destination police say the driver pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill him unless he cooperated. Fox45 News

Now who in the hell stands on the corner and offers two random men in an SUV $10 for a ride to the house? Did they work for Uber Select? This is what I think happened and no disrespect to the victim but I’ve heard this story a million times. It sounds like he met them off an app and knew what he was about to get into. That’s until they robbed him. Never ever meet random trade like this! If you’re meeting somebody for the first time you don’t let them come to your house unless you know them!

After getting to his house the suspects not only robbed him but restrained and sexually assaulted him as well. They worked together. These men already knew what they were trying to do smh.

The second victim’s story sounds the exact same and happened a day later.

Officers responded to a Woodlawn home on March 7 around 4:30 a.m. for an assault call and found the adult male victim with his hands and feet restrained. Investigators say the victim met a man online and the two agreed to meet in person, at the victim’s home. When the man arrived police say he brought a second man with him and both displayed handguns once inside the home. Fox45 News

The victim let it be known that he met these two men off an app. Like it is never wise to meet someone you barely know at your home. Even if the night is intimate as you like, how do you know that your house won’t be burglarized in the future? Most burglaries are committed by someone you know.

Thankfully the second victim was able to get away only losing his belongings but he could’ve lost his life.

Police identified the suspects as 23-year-old Shakir Agyei Mitchell (left of picture) and 27-year-old James D Johnson (right of picture). The investigation is still ongoing and more information is still needed. If you have any information please contact police at 410-307-2020.

Please be careful if you plan on having late night rounds aka sex with individuals you don’t completely know. Not only practice safe sex but practice safe mind. A couple minutes of pleasure isn’t worth your life.

When “Jokes” become reality: A Las Vegas Queer Couple Story of Survival

The recent controversy surrounding these cishet black comedians from Kevin Hart not taking accountability for his homophobic tweets to DL Hughley calling a transwoman a pussy for calling him out on supporting Kevin’s Homophobic “jokes”.

It’s all “jokes” about not wanting your child to come out queer not until queer people get hurt or end up dying.

A Las Vegas couple survived an attack from two cishet black men who followed them home and ambushed them. The name of the victims in this hate crime was Charles and his boyfriend Vincent. According to the local news KVVU station the attackers, Kealan Abraham and Andre Duncan, attacked Charles and Vincent at their apartment home after they followed them from Vincent’s job.

Charles was about to open the door when he heard Vincent calling out for help as Abraham and Duncan attacked him. They called him an abomination along with other homophobic slurs and language. The attack became so violent that a glass table was knocked over and one of the attackers grabbed a shard and stabbed Vincent in his back. Charles reacted quickly and pushed him away from Vincent.

The neighbors did nothing during the attack. The police weren’t called until after the attackers drove away. The attackers broke Vincent’s ribs and punctured his lung. Charles was hit in the head with a piece a glass but the attackers left him traumatized that they would come back and attack him again.

They were both hospitalized from the attack however they’re now both out and are staying with relatives until they find a new permanent location to live.

Below are the mugshots of the attackers.

At this time Abraham and Duncan have been arrested and charged with battery with a deadly weapon, battery with use of deadly weapon result of substantial bodily harm and conspiracy to commit criminal contempt.

Charles and Vincent were both relieved after Las Vegas Metropolitan police called them to inform them that their attackers have been arrested. However they’re wondering why both of them aren’t being charge with a hate crime.

You can support Charles and Vincent on their GoFundMe page.

This is a tale of warning for cishet people who are trying to defend anyone who supports homophobia. The rhetoric that you call “jokes” are literally getting people who identify within the LGBTQ spectrum attacked and killed all in the name of comedy.

Take accountability. Change your behavior. Educate yourself on marginalized issues and why we drag you when you tweet stupid stuff on social media.

Homophobia, Transphobia, and Down Low Exposés

mm

Published

on

Homophobia and transphobia always rear their ugly heads amid celeb scandals. The personal investment of Americans in the romantic lives of celebs continues to show us how far we still must go for equality.

Every time someone with celebrity status is caught in a sex scandal it makes waves. However, none shake the table like a man questioning his sexuality. In this country, we are so heavily invested in policing who sleeps with whom to save an outdated hypermasculine standard. Stories like Dwight Howard’s make front page news with such unnecessary shock and awe. The thought of a man preferring another man or a trans woman should make no difference to any of us, yet it does.

The social cost of being a black gay male in America is high. Much is wagered in the game of living as a closeted gay male at any status level, but celebrity stacks the deck against you. Families could be broken, divorces bargained, and employment could become scarce. For those in the public eye, they face the ridicule of an entire nation where even those in the queer community delight in their exposure. The act of finding pleasure in someone’s unwarranted outing is homophobic point-blank period.

Selfish

Time has shown repeatedly that in the face of exposure, a closeted man will sacrifice your gay ass before he’ll live in his truth. Stop protecting trade! We’ve seen this with Tyga, Bobby Valentino, Young Buck, and countless others. These exposés always come with rhetoric like “This is why no one takes the trans community seriously. The gays and the girls come up missing over this. No one wants to claim y’all.” We find ourselves vowing to stop interacting with people who won’t live out loud. When the dust settles, we’re back in the mess, sacrificing our dignity for some subpar dick or a couple coins.

Through all of this, the queer community becomes the butt of every joke. People reignite the stigma surrounding AIDS and gay men, they trivialize the trans experience, all because someone got burned.

What is the benefit? Why should any queer person make the decision to put themselves second because someone is too weak to come forward?

Weak

Dwight Howard, and any number of your faves, had the opportunity to stand proudly on their accomplishments and chisel away at the stigma surrounding unconventional love. They film these inspiring commercials for athletic companies with language that encourages digging deep and pushing through resistance but can’t even do that for the people they love. They openly chide an entire community that they are secretly a part of and people give them all the benefits of living in the open while their closet is built like a panic room.

Milan Christopher Transphobia

Milan Christopher, what are you doing?!

Stop it!

Down low men profit from homophobic and transphobic environments. We cannot continue to excuse the behavior of men who exploit a community that is divided. Remarks that capitalize on transphobia, like Milan Christopher’s, are the type that enable men like Dwight Howard to exploit feminine gay men or trans women. Stop protecting these men who sit guarded while queer people are killed with no justice, denied access to healthcare, marriage, and housing.

Until they want to be a part of our community, they should have no part of you.
